I came across this really cool video of a bizarre egg found by YouTuber Dave Massender:

A quick search turns up evidence that this kind of egg within an egg happens fairly regularly (which I guess you’d expect, given how many chickens and eggs there are in the world), but it was the first time I had seen it. Nature’s crazy.
