Owls stay up all night hunting and whatnot, so you'd think such a creature would have an easy time falling asleep during the day. Not so in the case of Claude the owl!

Claude needs a little extra encouragement to head off to slumberland, but he's found a human who is only too happy to help. A woman strokes Claude's feathers all along his body, from his head and eyebrows all the way down to his belly. Claude, for his part, seems to love the attention lavished upon him. "Just a little bit longer, and I'll be asleep," his ever-heavier eyes seem to say.

Claude the owl is getting sleepy, very sleepy …
Claude the owl gets his feathers stroked — and the sleepyhead seems to relish the attention.
