Standing 2 feet tall at the shoulder, capybaras are the largest rodents in the world, and they're closely related to guinea pigs.
The animals are native to Central and South America where they live near water, usually along riverbanks, ponds and marshes.
Capybaras have dry skin, so they frequently take a dip to stay healthy. They also have webbed feet, and their eyes, ears and nostrils are located on top of their heads, which allows them to keep most of their bodies below water like hippos.
Capybaras can stay underwater for up to five minutes at a time, but sometimes they prefer just to get their heads wet, as you'll see in the adorable video below.
