Wildlife photographer Mitsuaki Iwago has spent the last several years documenting the world's street kitties as part of his television show, "Wildlife Photographer Mitsuaki Iwago's World CatsTravelogue."

During a visit to Japan's Okinawa island, Iwago met one exceptionally charismatic ginger kitten that had no qualms curling up in his lap and perching atop his head.

Despite living on the streets, kitties like this one are social and friendly thanks to the compassionate humans who are quick to offer food and affectionate pats on the head.
