One of my favorite green tech blog, Earth2Tech, a jewel in Om Malik's GigaOm empire, is hosting a green tech conference called Green: Net on March 24 in San Francisco. They will be talking about clean tech, energy efficiency, IT infrastructure, politics, online green activism, and smart energy grids.

Check out the schedule of events here.

Mr. Malik and Earth2Tech writer Katie Fehrenbacher are selecting "10 up-and-coming companies that are using the web, cell phones, wireless networks or software to create technology to combat global warming" to present on stage at the conference, a killer bit of exposure for any green startup. The deadline is short and will close this Friday at midnight (PST), you can submit your company here.

If you are in San Francisco and would like to attend Green:Net, you can purchase a ticket here.
