Kate used to write for Grist and just landed at Mother Jones. She's one of my favorite voices in climate change and I'm really happy to see her get some extra exposure on the Rachel Maddow show.

And as I pointed out to Kate on Facebook last night, she's now only three degrees away from Kevin Bacon. Rachel Maddow was in an episode of Ugly Betty with Vanessa Williams who was in a TV special with Mr. Bacon back in 2001.

Nice work Kate!
