A snow day is typically a day off for most people. The rookie swimmers at Canada's Simon Fraser University are not most people.

Truly dedicated to their sport, these young men and women donned their swim gear — even goggles — and dove into the snow for a quick freestyle medley relay. (The length of the lanes don't seem to be up to competitive standards, and the snow probably added a bit more resistance than the swimmers are used to, so we'll allow the bending of rules in this instance.)

Even if this practice session doesn't help with the next tournament, SFU is sure to win the polar bear swim this year.

There's no such thing as a snow day for swimmers
Swimmers from Simon Fraser University didn't let the snow stop them from getting their laps in for the day.
