Oklahoma Republican Senator James Inhofe is a terrible person. He's been a staunch defender of the dirty status quo, suckling at the teat of Big Dirty Energy for as long as he's been in office. He might be the most oft-quoted quack denier in the climate change game, he certainly holds the title in the Senate. He called global warming "the second-largest hoax ever played on the American people, after the separation of church and state."

Last month Senator Inhofe became sick after swimming in Oklahoma's Grand Lake, where he keeps a house. He dove into a floating layer of green algae that hadn't been seen on the lake in the decades he's had a home there.

I wish the Senator a swift recovery and encourage him to not shy away from swimming. You know the saying, "when you get sick from diving in the algae, you have to dive right back in." Something like that.

Senator James Inhofe attacked by lake
Global warming denier and U.S. Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) had a nasty run-in, or should I say, dive-in, with a lake that left him laid up, sick in bed.
