Galaxy Apr 194

This is image was taken in commemoration of Hubble’s 19th birthday. The Apr 194 galaxy system contains several spirals galaxies and bright blue star-forming regions. The arm that reaches from the northern part of the system to the southern contains complexes of super star clusters, and the color is from the extreme heat that emanates from these stars. This system is located within the constellation Cepheus.
