I don’t really know much about the backstory of this video of a bunch of Russian guys using an ice auger to carve out their own little ice raft, but I know I love how they pulled it off and wanted to share.

I used to build river rafts all the time as a kid, but never anything as crazy as this. Fun times on the icy river!

It should go without saying, but don’t try this yourself. You’ll slip on the ice, fall into the water, and get eaten by night eels.
