Every now and then, a piece of art comes along that reminds you of just how spectacular the natural world can be. That's exactly the case with "Human Nature," a gorgeous short film that takes viewers on a journey to some of the country's most jaw-dropping wild landscapes.

The creative brain behind this 4K video is filmmaker Amon Barker of Après Visuals. Barker developed a love of the great outdoors from a very young age, having grown up exploring the breathtaking landscapes of his childhood home of New Mexico.

Now based in Jackson, Wyoming, Barker and his team didn't need to travel far to capture some of the film's most awe-inspiring vistas. The nearby Teton mountain range plays an especially prominent role in "Human Nature."

"When we came up with the concept for the 'Human Nature' short, it was very simple," the team explains. "We wanted to create powerful images of the natural world that would remind viewers of their connection to the land and it's personal meaning to them."

Mission accomplished!
