Last week I wrote about a new and easy way to do something good for the world- Like it for Good! finds sponsors who pay money to fund cool things like tree planting and carbon offsets every time someone Likes, Tweets, Google+s, or Stumbles a post on the Like it for Good! website. It was started by my good friend Jan Van Voorst, founder of Planetsave.

I'm happy and proud to announce that I have been asked to come on board Like it for Good! to help bring it to life. I'll be working on the writing and marketing side of the business while Jan continues to oversee operations and handles sales and partnerships.

Every week we'll be featuring a new cause/charity that you can help out with a Like, Tweet, +1, or Stumble. This week we're featuring tree planting (with the help of Trees for the Future) sponsored by the folks over at Bean Products.

If you'd like to help make the world a more forested place, first swing over to Like it for Good! on Facebook to drop a Like down, then click to the Beans Products tree planting post and drop another Like and maybe retweet the link. Every click equals a tree so you can increase up your impact by Tweeting, +1ing, and Stumbling the post.

Are you on TwitterFollow me (@sheagunther) there, I give good tweets.

And if you really like my writing, you can join my Facebook page.
