The Bagger 288 is a massive mining excavator owned by a German company used to clear land ahead of coal mining operations in Tagebau Hambach in Germany. It is capable of clearing the equivalent of a soccer pitch dug to 100 feet every day, and is one of the largest tracked vehicles in the world.
