Icon shattered

Knox Church in Christchurch lost its windows in the 6.3 magnitude quake. It was the second quake to hit the city of Christchurch in five months, and the country's most deadly natural disaster in 80 years. 

With its iconic churches and Avon River, the town of Christchurch is often called "a little piece of England."
