Grand Teton National Park

If you’re more of a snow-loving person, backcountry skiing and snowboarding are the best ways to see Grand Teton National Park near Jackson Hole, Wyo. The area gets about 500 inches of light, dry snow (powder!) a year and is an ideal place to go off piste and check out the natural slopes and lines. Traveling with a group and an experienced guide, as well as undergoing avalanche/beacon training, is recommended for those attempting the routes here, but the clean snow, huge bowls and challenging terrain are the rewards.
