Not everything freezes over in Alaska, as this video demonstrates. Sometimes, it's only cold enough for a thin layer of ice to form on a stream while some water and air can keep flowing underneath the ice. The results are these mesmerizing bubbles.

The bubbles shift to and fro, slipping around rocks and the like and colliding with one another to form larger and larger bubbles or to form a collage of bubbles that recalls a collection of blood cells struggling through a vein. Coupled with the elegiac music, the clips of these bubbles finding their way offers a moment of relaxation and reflection: If these bubbles can make their way to their destination through difficult terrain, then we can certainly get through whatever challenges we face.
