Keeping in mind everything from city planning to product planning, green design can play a part. At its most basic, broad level, green design also known as 'sustainable design' means considering the environmental impact of any product or entity. Green design is spreading to countless areas — including architecture, automobiles, apparel, cosmetics, sanitation, recreation, packaging, furniture, business and many more. (Photo: Flickr)
