When Mikki Willis' 4-year-old son received two of the same presents for his birthday, Willis suggested that he and Azai head to the toy store to exchange the present for something else the boy might like. His reaction to what his son picked out is taking the Internet by storm.

Take a look:

It's a doll. And not just any doll — a Little Mermaid Ariel doll complete with long red locks, purple tiara and shell brooch. And how did the elder Willis react? With a, "YEAH!" heard loud and clear and echoed by his sons.

Willis, a filmmaker from Ouja, California, has been sharing clips of his family online for the past few years. But it's this clip — of Willis showing his unconditional acceptance of his sons and promising them he will always love and accept them, no matter what life they choose — that has gone viral to the tune of more than 17 million views on Facebook.

"My job as daddy is to provide a safe playing field for my boys to play whatever game they choose — or better yet, create their own game," Willis posted on Facebook. "I trust that by the time they realize the world isn't as accepting as mommy and daddy, they'll have such a solid foundation that nothing will shake their stance to fully, and unabashedly be themselves."

And Azai's reaction to his father's promise? Well let's just say it's one for the record books.
