Are you an animal rights advocate?  Or maybe you're just hungry for some tofurky pizza or coconut milk ice cream?  Want some info about local vegan B&Bs? Then head on over to the Animal Rights 2010 National Conference.

The annual conference, hosted by the Farm Animal Rights Movement, will be held July 15th-19th at the Hilton Mark Center Hotel in Alexandria, Virginia. The event offers 90 free exhibits featuring animal advocacy and social justice groups, compassionate shopping, delicious food, and animal art.

There are lots of presentations and workshops on the schedule on topics such as animal abuse, veganism, population growth, and activism as well as eyewitness reports from Whale Wars and a special address by U.S. Congressman Dennis Kucinich.  There's also a vegan banquet and a fundraiser where they are giving away a vegan B&B package, vacations, & vegan artists' creations.

Conference costs vary depending upon the number of days attending, but the the exhibits are all free and open to the public Fri-Sun, 10:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more info check out:
