Almost one year ago, 21-year-old nursing student Kristina Chesterman was riding her bicycle home from a long day of studying when she was hit by an allegedly drunk driver and killed.  Her young life was cut short before she ever got a chance to really live it.  But not before she had a chance to make a bucket list full of her wishes and dreams for the future.

Shortly after her death, Kristina's parents found her bucket list tucked away in the zippered pouch of a make-up bag in her apartment.  They never before knew of the goals that their young daughter had set for herself.  But upon finding the list, Sandra and Dave Chesterman knew immediately what they had to do.  Kristina's parents made it their mission to remember their daughter by fulfilling her bucket list.

And they are not alone.

After setting up a Facebook page, Remembering Kristina Chesterman, to post their bucket list progress, the Chesterman's story began to spread, inspiring friends, family, and the entire Facebook community to take up the cause to complete Kristina's list.

Post after post on the memorial page show Kristina's photo at places the young student always wanted to visit and doing activities she never got the chance to do. In an interview on, the Chestermans said that this outpouring of support has helped them to grieve the loss of her daughter - remembering her everyday, rather than trying in vain to forget.

Here's a look at the life goals that made it on to Kristina Chesterman's bucket list:
