While it hovers over 100 degrees in Arizona, the Children’s Museum of Phoenix offers three floors for kids under 10 to explore in cool comfort. Older kids gravitate toward the Schuff-Perini Climber, a three-story climbing structure with a recycled rocket at the top. For the toddler set, the “Room for Under Threes” is open for play, as well as the brand-new exhibit, “Ian’s Corner,” inspired by Richard Scarry's “Cars, Trucks and Things That Go.” The Museum’s third Birthday Bash in June will be celebrated with cupcakes, balloons and storytelling, plus free admission for triplets.
