Nick Boxer: Captain Planet’s appearance is something which is brought up to me a lot. A lot of people think Captain Planet looks like them, but when I sort of say to people, 'Look at the T-shirt. Do you notice anything?' And they’re like, 'Oh, my God! You’re Captain Planet!' And it’s really kind of funny. I mean, I walk around and wear the T-shirt, and people will just come up to me and say, 'Do you know you look like Captain Planet?' And I’ll be like, 'Kind of because I am Captain Planet.' And they’re like, 'What do you mean? Did you do the voice?' And I say, 'No, I was one of the producers on the show. I was responsible for a lot of the creative on it.' There was somebody recently, I couldn’t remember their name. They couldn’t remember my name, other than they called me Captain Planet. So it’s like I’m kind of at a disadvantage that way, because people just remember that, and I can’t be like, 'You don’t remember my name.' Yeah, I mean, my only sort of complaint is that, you know, they stole my face, and they never paid me for it. I often wondered if there was any sort of liability, you know, or any sort of lawsuit I could have brought and said, 'Hey, you owe me residuals on my face.' Although, the problem is, as I get older, it’s less than -- now it’s like, you know, now I’m more like Grandpa Planet. Waitresses, bankers -- it doesn’t matter, you run into anyone between the ages of about 23, and you know, 35, you know, and it extends beyond that, but in that range, a lot of people get very excited about it, and it feels nice.
