Barbara Garcia was on live television, telling a reporter about her terrifying tornado experience when an amazing thing happened.

Garcia was standing near the wreckage of her home in Moore, Okla., talking about all that she had lost, including her longtime pet. Someone from the crew of CBS News affiliate KWTV saw a motion in the wreckage, and when the camera zoomed in, there was her missing dog, shaking free of the rubble. Miraculously, the dog emerged — dirty but unscathed.

"Well I thought God just answered one prayer to let me be OK, but he answered both of them because that was my second prayer," Garcia said.
