Dry martini

To create the images, each drink is first crystallized on a slide. “Using a standard light microscope with a camera attached, the light source is [then] polarized and passed through the crystal. This creates the magnificent colors we see in our favorite drinks,” according to BevShots. Davidson was a researcher at Florida State University. He first started photographing these slides as a way to make money for his lab. Pictured here is a dry martini.
