I am part of a community of tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands, of food bloggers. I know this fact about almost every person in that community: not only do we care about food, we care about those who don’t get enough food on a day-to-day basis.

The makers of the film “A Place at the Table” are turning to this community that cares and organizing Food Bloggers Against Hunger. On April 8, 2013, they’re asking food bloggers to donate a post to raise awareness against hunger. I’ll be donating a post here and on my South Jersey Locavore blog.

I know that many of you who read this blog have food blogs of your own, so I wanted to pass along this information. Food bloggers who want participate in Food Bloggers Against Hunger can post budget-friendly, healthy recipes, share their own stories about being hungry or helping the hungry, or one of several other ideas in the guidelines.
