Earlier this week, I told you to take someone who doesn’t know about our broken food system to see the movie Food, Inc. Chipotle, one of MNN’s top 10 organic fast-food picks, is about to make that a whole lot less expensive for you to do so.

Starting next week, Chipotle is hosting free screenings of Food, Inc. across the country. The company thinks the issues raised are “important and complex” (I certainly agree) and wants to give everyone the chance to attend a viewing.

Free screenings begin at 7:30. Seating is limited. For a complete list of cities and theaters where the screenings will be held, click here.

I’d like to thank reader Kathy from the Georgia Green Dining Guide for bringing this to my attention in the comments of my Food, Inc. piece. (Kathy – I’ve even stolen the title of your comment as the title of this post.)

Robin Shreeves ( @rshreeves ) focuses on food from a family perspective from her home base in New Jersey.

Free Food (Inc.)
A fast-food restaurant that wants you to see Food, Inc.? Can it be true? Yep -- and they'll even pay for your ticket.
