On Oct. 17-18, the James Beard Foundation will host a food conference in New York City. The topic is A Crisis in Confidence: Creating a Better, More Sustainable Food World We Can Trust, and while it’s open to the public, I won’t be able to get there, even though I’d love to attend.

I will be able to catch pieces of it throughout the two days from my computer because the event will be live streamed.

The list of speakers is interesting:

  • Rosemary Ellis, editor in chief, Good Housekeeping
