If you’re looking to improve your health by losing weight and need some inspiration, take a look at this trailer. It’s for a movie due out this spring called “Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead.” The title of the film says it all, doesn’t it?

Joe Cross was 100 pounds overweight and taking a scary amount of medication to manage his health problems caused by obesity. The film is the story of his struggle to lose the weight and his crusade to tell others about it and help others with similar problems.

I found this short trailer inspiring. I have a feeling the entire film will be even more so. As I’ve been talking about for the past month, I’m on Weight Watchers to help me lose weight. I’m not on any medications for problems related to my weight. I have a pretty good feeling though that if I don’t take care of the problem, eventually I’ll have to be on medications. Anything that can help motivate me to keep heading in the right direction is welcome.

“Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead” will premiere in theaters across the country beginning April 1, 2011. The film’s website has locations and dates. Shortly after its theatrical debut, the film will be available on DVD.
