I thought Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution Theme Song would be released earlier this month, but it turns out it will be on hold until this Friday, Food Revolution Day. Paul McCartney, Ed Sheeran, Alesha Dixon, Paloma Faith and Jamie Cullum were collaborating with Oliver on the song, and recent Instagram posts show some additional artists such as Jamie Cullum and Alesha Dixon adding their talents to the yet-to-be-released tune.

The musicians are encouraging listeners to sign Oliver’s Change.org petition to be delivered to the leaders of the G20 forum comprised of 19 countries plus the European Union. The petition asks for “compulsory practical food education in schools across the world” to help combat the global obesity epidemic. The petition is a little over 156,000 signatures shy of the goal of 1 million.

I just signed, and there's time for you to sign to if you want kids to learn the practical, important skills of growing and preparing their own, healthy foods.
