On Saturday, people across the country shared more than 5,500 meals that cost $5 or less per person during Slow Food USA’s $5 Dinner Challenge. Some photos of the challenge from various dinners were posted on Flickr, and Slow Food created a slide show from the photos.

I enjoyed looking through the slide show, and I thought you might, too.

Looks like many people enjoyed a lot of fun and community fellowship gathered around good food, doesn’t it?

Did you participate in the $5 Dinner Challenge? What did you end up serving?
