Stonyfield Organic wants to know when you had your “aha” moment — the moment you realized you should be eating organic — and the company wants you to share your story on the Organic Moment website. People who share their organic stories have a chance to win a year of free organic groceries or a month of organic Stonyfield.

There are already lots of videos posted, some by people you might be familiar with like Robert Kenner, director of “Food, Inc.,” Laurie David, producer and author of “The Family Dinner,” and Chris Elam, founder of Meatless Monday. Of course, these people aren’t eligible for the prizes, but most of the people posting videos and photos with written stories are eligible.

I can relate to many of the stories like the one from Elizabeth W. who had her Organic Moment after reading the book "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle," the same book that brought organic food to my attention. Another one that I relate to is the one in the below video.

Robin Shreeves ( @rshreeves ) focuses on food from a family perspective from her home base in New Jersey.
