About two years ago, I had the privilege of interviewing Robyn O’Brien when “The Unhealthy Truth” was published. O’Brien became interested in what was in the food she was feeding her children when one of them had a serious allergic reaction. She has been educating herself and others ever since about the dangers of some of the additives that the United States allows in food and what individuals, communities and corporations can do about it.

O’Brien recently gave a TEDx talk, and it’s absolutely worth carving out the next 18 minutes to give it a listen. Grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and be ready to get angry — and then inspired to do something about it.
