In 2011, the first TEDxManhattan Changing the Way We Eat conference was live-streamed on 14,000 computers. Tomorrow, Jan. 21, the second Changing the Way We Eat conference will be live at Times Center in New York City, and anyone can watch from home. The list of speakers is impressive, and Laurie David, author of the wonderful “The Family Dinner,” will be hosting for the day.

TEDxManhattan will explore the issues, the impacts and the innovations happening as we shift to a more sustainable way of eating and farming and help to create connections and unite different areas of the food movement.

The event runs from 10:30 a.m. to 5:35 p.m. ET, with three sessions and two breaks. The TEDxManhattan website has a complete schedule of the sessions and a list of presenters who will be speaking during each session.

You can follow along during the day in one of three ways.

If you’d like to watch the talks with others who are interested in changing the way we eat, see if there is a registered viewing party in your area. There may still be time to get in on one.

Robin Shreeves ( @rshreeves ) focuses on food from a family perspective from her home base in New Jersey.
