I'm hopping the train and heading up to New York City where I'll be joining the Blog for Family Dinner crew in Times Square for Food Day. I'll be helping to spread the word about the benefits of regular family meals. I don't have the ability to live blog, but I can live tweet from my Twitter account. If you want to know what's going on, follow me on Twitter. I'm @rshreeves. Look for most of the tweets between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. EST.

And be sure to come back here Monday evening (Oct. 24) for pictures and a wrap-up of the day.

It's not too late to get in on the Food Day festivities wherever you are. You can cook a dinner using real food (otherwise known as ingredients, not packaged food) or you can find a Food Day event near you.

Robin Shreeves ( @rshreeves ) focuses on food from a family perspective from her home base in New Jersey.
