There are few things that will cool you down like a popsicle during the hot days of summer. Not only do my children love them, but I do too! We try to make our own as much as possible as it’s both much cheaper, and you can make such fun versions. You only need an inexpensive popsicle mold to get started, and then a blender to blend up your popsicle mixture.
A few quick tips:
- Any smoothie can be made into a popsicle. In fact, if we ever have leftover smoothie, I just pour it into a popsicle mold so nothing is wasted.
- If you’d rather not sweeten your popsicle with sugar, use a pureed banana instead. It will sweeten it nicely.
- Don’t be afraid to try one of the popsicle recipes below that were developed for adults. Any flavor combination you like in other dishes will work in a frozen form as well.
