WorldChanging is all about figuring out how to save the world. It was launched in 2003 by Alex Steffen and Jamais Cascio and regularly features some of the smartest minds covering the people and ideas swirling around the important question of how do we build a sustainable world?

What pro blogger Michael Graham Richard says about Worldchanging: "I think it's a pretty uncontroversial fact that WorldChanging is one of the grandparents of the current generation of forward-looking green Web sites out there. I started reading it around early 2005, and to me at that time, it was part of this great trinity of sites (that are still thriving today): WorldChanging, Grist and TreeHugger. Over the years, WorldChanging has accomplished great things, including a massive book full of big ideas: A User's Guide for the 21st Century. On a more personal level, I'm sure that some old posts by Jamais Cascio (co-founder of WorldChanging) were probably my introduction to many futuristic concepts that still interest me to this day."
