Today is my day to rile against the corporatization of everything from environmental publications and nonprofits to fake organic standards, clean coal, non-biodegradable "biodegradable" plastic, gas-guzzling hybrid SUV's and many more eco-paradoxes. So in the spirit of social commentary, I bring you the wonderful Academy award winning animated short film by the French collective H5.
Logorama: brand apocalypse
Logorama wins Oscar for best animated short and provides an over-the-top and on-the-mark commentary about the corporate takeover of the American landscape.
Unfortunately they just pulled the film off the internet but you can read my post all about this incredible, visionary film on SHFT.com. And if you speak French you can watch a short making-of video (above).
