In cold blood

Some mosquitoes on the Galapagos Islands have begun feeding on reptiles instead of mammals and birds, especially marine iguanas and the iconic Galapagos tortoise. Scientists fear the appetite for cold-blood could introduce new diseases to the already-threatened reptiles.
