Langer’s Wranglers is a Do One Thing (DOT) team of AT&T employees led by Matt Langer in Phoenix, Arizona. Roughly every month, a different team member’s charity is supported by the rest of the group with volunteer hours.
“Every month, we learn something different about the community that we live and work in,” Justine Brown, AT&T Retail Store Manager, said.
Over the past two and a half years, the team has participated in 26 events helping organizations including local churches and schools, the Humane Society, Habitat for Humanity and United Food Bank.
“United Food Bank distributes just a little over 24 million pounds of food a year,” Sage Randall, Director of Programs for United Food Bank, said. “And without volunteers, that would not happen.”
According to Langer, “It’s a great bonding with the community. Not only are we doing something that matters to them, but we’re also doing something that we truly care about.”
