The ad, which follows 24 hours in the life of Apple products and was filmed entirely on an iPhone, is billed as "30 years and one day in the making." Recorded on January 24, 2014, it celebrates the 30th birthday of Macintosh. Although many in the advertising industry assumed Apple would run this ad during the Super Bowl, where they unveiled their infamous '1984' ad 30 years ago, the company opted instead to release the 1:30 clip online instead. Not surprisingly, the video has since gone viral.
