With everyone getting all excited about Bike to Work Day, I thought it would be a good time to talk about Tube to Work Day.

Tube to Work Day

Tube to Work Day, in which participants commute to work via Boulder’s Boulder Creek, was started by Jeff Kagan and Andy Gruel in 2008 as a bit of fun. The event has grown over the years and drew 19 intrepid tubers at last year's run.

The next Tube to Work Day is coming up on June 24 at 8 a.m. at the Eben G. Fine park in Boulder, Colorado. The city of Boulder will be providing breakfast for all tubers.

Forget Bike to Work Day, long live Tube to Work Day!
Bike to Work Day is great, but it’s not nearly as fun, exciting, and suit-soaking as Boulder Colorado’s Tube to Work Day. Check out the action here.
