A warning to consumers: Don’t let the flex fuel vehicle (FFV) designation of the Ford F-250 cause confusion; this full-sized pickup truck is anything but eco-friendly. The 6.2L 8-cylinder model also earned a Green Score of 20, thanks in part to the 12/16 city/highway fuel efficiency ratings. Visitors to the official Ford Trucks website won’t be able to easily find the fuel efficiency rating for the F-250, but they will be able to watch multiple videos touting the superior fuel efficiency of the vehicle when compared to its direct competitors — the Chevy Silverado and Dodge Ram.
