We've heard time and time again from numerous celebs who swear by yoga as not only an integral part of their workout routine, but also as a lifestyle, but there's one person who will not give you such an endorsement: Angelina Jolie.

The 38-year-old mother of six is returning to theaters this May as the iconic villain Maleficent from the 1959 Disney classic "Sleeping Beauty." As we witness in the latest trailer, the dark fairy reveals a flashback in which she once had "strong" wings — soaring above the land and pushing back armies. "They were stolen from me," she tells Princess Aurora.

Angelina Jolie as Maleficent

While it's easy to think Jolie just waved her arms around in front of a green screen and computers took care of the rest, the actress was actually hoisted via cables and flew around a set. This required stunt coordinator Eunice Huthart to prescribe a workout routine that included yoga

"She made me do yoga. And I have no patience for yoga," she told E!. "It's not something I do easily, because I'm not a still person. But I was forced to do yoga because [to fly] you have to have your core strength to be able to hold yourself."

As the new trailer shows below, all of that hard work not only paid off, but was also a blast to film.

"I feel like the luckiest girl in the world that I get to fly," Jolie shared. "I really feel like I'm flying!"
