Fort Collins, Colo.

Fort Collins is well-known as the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park and Roosevelt National Forest, but it also boasts world-class fishing and skiing. Poudre River and parks in the foothills are great for hiking, paddling and getting away.

To top it off, the city was also named Money magazine's Best Places to Live 2006, #2 in 2008, and #6 in 2010.
