In October, Walmart partner Conservation International launched Nature is Speaking, a campaign designed to provoke a conversation about nature's essential role in our lives.

Walmart has been involved in the dialogue since 2006, when the company announced its first sustainability commitments. Environmental sustainability is now recognized as an essential ingredient to doing business efficiently, responsibly and successfully.

And Walmart recognizes that talking isn’t good enough, which is why the company has committed to three sustainability goals: to be supplied 100 percent by renewable energy, to create zero waste, and to sell products that sustain people and the environment.

Walmart is inviting customers into the conversation and will be running two of the Conservation International public service announcements in 3,300 stores throughout the month of January.
