While no band is truly satisfied with a single song forever defining it, these one-hit wonders legacies are nonetheless a big part of music history. To celebrate such contributions, each year on September 25 we set the playlist to those artists or songs that only managed to crack the Top 40 once. That's right everyone, Happy National One-Hit Wonder Day!

While every place from VH1 to Rolling Stone, as well as other platforms, have their own extensive lists of the best single hits, we thought we'd throw together 10 of our own favorites. Partial to a one-hit wonder not included here? Let us know in the comments!
