To celebrate the release of the upcoming comedy sequel "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues," Ben and Jerry's are releasing a new flavor, "Ron Burgundy’s Scotchy, Scotch, Scotch.

Those familiar with the first "Anchorman" know that news anchor Ron Burgundy, played by actor Will Ferrell, has a certain affinity for scotch. In honor of that, Ben and Jerry's mixed up some butterscotch ice cream with butterscotch swirl.

“Scotchy, Scotch, Scotch is a delicious ice cream and I hope Ben and Jerry consider my other suggestions,” Ron Burgundy said in a press release.  “Malt liquor marshmallow, well liquor bourbon peanut butter, and cheap white wine sherbet.”

Here's the official synopsis for the new flavor:

We don’t know how to put this but this flavor is kinda of a big deal.  Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it 'Scotchy Scotch Scotch'.  Scholars maintain that the translation was lost hundreds of years ago.  Stay Classy, From all of us at Ben & Jerry’s."

The new flavor is available now. Check out a trailer for "Anchorman 2" below.
