At the Art in Paradise museum in Chiang Mai, Thailand, visitors aren't expected to merely stand back and observe the art – they're encouraged to be part of it.

Walking through the museum's exhibits is a bit like adventuring through a theme park. There are nine different themes: underwater, safari, classic art, Thai, Egypt, surrealism, dinosaurs, sculpture and a room dedicated to the historic city of Ayutthaya. Detailed paintings, 3-D sculptures and props create elaborate optical illusions, immersing visitors in miniature landscapes and life-sized works of art.
