Get ready for this summer's Bonnaroo festival to shake the farm with Eminem, Lil Wayne, Buffalo Springfield and Arcade Fire serving as the big headliners.

The massive music festival, which happens annually on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tenn., made the lineup announcement today, with more than 125 bands and more than 20 comedians performing on 13 stages over four days.

Of course, as many already know, Bonnaroo's eclectic offerings go well beyond the acts on stage, with activities including a comedy theater, cinema festival, broo'ers festival, silent disco, salon, sustainable gardening lessons, arcade, Internet cafés, restaurants, yoga classes and hundreds of high-quality craft vendors.

Last year, organizers ramped up efforts to turn the event into one of the most sustainable on the planet. Thirty tons of organic waste was composted in 2009, three times as much as was composted in 2008. In 2010, a massive victory garden was launched to take advantage of all the organic waste generated. Classes on gardening basics, seed saving and mushroom logs were offered, as well as seeds and other starter supplies for attendees to take home and plant in their own gardens.

"Our goal is to influence the decisions patrons can make to create healthy communities at home," says sustainability coordinator Laura Sohn. "It's all about behavior change. We want fans to think beyond just sorting their trash."
