Model and actress Elisabetta Canalis is stripping down for PETA as part of their "I'd rather go naked than wear fur" ad campaign.

The 32-year-old, who has been dating actor George Clooney for several years, said that the decision to shoot the campaign was an easy one because of her admiration for what the animal rights organization fights for.

“I think this is the best reason why I got naked in my life,” she told ET Online. Ouch - sorry George!

In a video, Canalis relates how she first became aware of the cruelty inflicted on animals. “I was a kid, a little girl, and was watching TV at home and they showed a documentary. And in the documentary I saw how they killed little animals, like electrocuting them, drowning them, bludgeoning them,” she said.

“I was shocked because I was a little girl, but by that moment I thought that I would never, never, never, wear fur in my life.”

According to the UK Mail, Canalis' shoot also included one of her adopted dogs who “licked and snuggled with his mom as she lay on the floor of the studio.”

PETA says that the final ad will be available this fall. Check out a behind-the-scenes video by jumping over to ET's site here. (Warning: May not be safe for work.)
